Our aim is for Dove Bank Primary School to be a learning community where education is viewed enthusiastically and where a child can be secure and happy whatever social pressures exist outside. The responsibility for creating that happy, welcoming, secure environment rests with those of us who work here supported by parents and families. It is a responsibility we take very seriously.
We aim to create a caring community in which each child develops to their full potential within the framework of a balanced and creative curriculum, which promotes the development of basic skills.
We believe children’s learning and personal developments are enhanced through learning experiences outside the classroom.
We aim to establish a principle of consideration for the needs of others. We aim for all pupils to commence their High School with a confidence in their own ability and a high valuation of their own self worth, together with the practical, social and academic skills needed for this stage of their education.
